Canada
takes on the World, June 1st-5th
44 young ball hockey players from across the country will be
leave for the Czech Republic on Wednesday, May 26th, the Junior Team Canada
management along with the tournament organizers would like to share a few ways
to follow the action at the 2010 U16 & U18 World Street & Ball Hockey
Championships. The U16 & U18 Canadian teams are ready to take on the world. We
have some local BC minor ball hockey players that will be making the trip – U16:
Colin Catchpole(Delta), Deepkaran Toor(Surrey), Jas Kahlon(Richmond), Chris
Ceraldi(Valley), Brett Abercrombie(Valley), Devan Suidy(Valley), Matt
Lloyd(Metro), Eric Czernick(Metro), Trevor Sidhu(Metro). U18: Keenan
Monkhouse(Delta). There are three staff members traveling from BC as well: U16 &
U18 Assistant General Manager - Gary Slavin(Maple Ridge), U16 Assistant Coach -
Dave Olafson(Maple Ridge) and Team Doctor - Carl Shearer(Maple Ridge). We are
told that games will be available for viewing online.

As Junior Team Canada prepares to take
on the world in Czech Republic from June 2-5, to get the players there takes a
lot of funds. Help support not only the players that have been selected from BC
but across the country and show off the red and white with a U16/U18 Junior Team
Canada authentic jersey. We will even put the number of your choice along with
your name on the back. First order deadline to have the jersey's in time for the
tournament is February 15th, 2010, but if you are not in a hurry and still want
to support the team, a second order is being placed with a deadline of
April 15th with a delivery date of June 20th, 2010.
